Let’s dive in! ๐
Whatโs New
๐ผ Careers in Credit
Finding the right talent or the right opportunity in the credit industry just got easier. We’ve launched Careers in Credit, a dedicated platform that connects lenders with experienced professionals across the lending ecosystem.
For organizations looking to grow their teams, the directory provides access to qualified credit professionals to help fill critical roles faster. If you’d like to learn how your organization can access the directory, reach out to [email protected] for more information.

๐ชช National Identification Number (NIN) support for loan bookings ๐
You can now capture a customer’s **National Identification Number (NIN)** when manually booking loans on their behalf. This update ensures your institution is ready to meet insurance requirements, as NIN is now a mandatory requirement from our insurance provider for eligible policies.
By collecting the NIN during loan booking, you can avoid delays in processing insurance coverage and ensure your customers continue to enjoy uninterrupted access to insured loan products without affecting your processes.
๐ Download transaction statements from your web application
Your customers can now download their transaction statements directly from your web application, making it easier to review account activity, reconcile transactions, and share statements whenever needed.
Customers can generate statements using predefined periods such as this month, last month, last 3 months, and year to date, or choose a custom date range. Statements can be downloaded as a professionally formatted PDF with your institution’s branding, debit and credit summaries, contact information, and a QR code for authenticity verification, or as a CSV file for seamless reconciliation in spreadsheet applications.
Every downloaded statement includes a unique QR code that links to a public verification page, allowing recipients to instantly confirm the authenticity of the statement and increasing trust when statements are shared with third parties.
๐ฑ MTN MoMo Integration for collections and disbursements
We’re excited to introduce MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) as a new payment channel for loan collections and disbursements. This enables lenders to seamlessly send loan proceeds to customers and collect repayments through one of Africa’s most widely used mobile money networks.
This enhancement is especially valuable for lenders operating in Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, Cameroon, Cรดte d’Ivoire, Benin, Zambia, Congo, Guinea, and Eswatini, where MTN MoMo is widely adopted for everyday financial transactions. By supporting mobile money alongside traditional banking channels, lenders can reach more customers, simplify payments, and improve the overall borrowing experience.
Whether you’re expanding into new markets or serving customers who prefer mobile money, MTN MoMo helps make lending faster, more accessible, and more convenient.
Whatโs Better?
๐ณ A smarter, more reliable Line of Credit
We’ve completely reimplemented our Line of Credit feature to provide a more flexible experience for borrowers and a more sustainable lending model for financial institutions.
Unlike traditional loans that end once they’re repaid, borrowers can now draw from their approved credit limit, repay, and access funds again without starting a new loan application in a reimagined flow. This encourages repeat usage, improves customer retention, and creates more opportunities for recurring interest revenue.
Behind the scenes, we’ve strengthened the platform with an enhanced ledger that reconciles seamlessly with our core banking system, helping prevent overdraws, duplicate charges, and reconciliation issues even during periods of high transaction volume. We’ve also introduced a more complete repayment lifecycle with detailed statements, minimum payment tracking, automatic repayment retries, and improved delinquency management.
To support regulatory compliance and operational transparency, every credit line activity is fully auditable and ready for reporting requirements. Credit limits can also be reviewed and adjusted based on borrower behaviour, giving lenders greater control over portfolio risk while confidently scaling their lending operations.
We’ve refreshed the email templates sent from your organization to create a cleaner, more professional experience for your customers.
The updated templates improve readability, present information more clearly, and provide a more consistent brand experience across customer communications, helping ensure important updates are easier to understand and act upon.
๐ฌ Stay updated on Internal team comments
Keeping track of internal conversations is now easier. You and your team can now receive notifications whenever a new internal comment is added to key customer records.
This improvement helps teams collaborate more effectively, reduces the chances of missing important updates, and ensures everyone involved in managing a customer account stays informed without constantly checking the platform.
It’s almost here! We’re putting the finishing touches on the long-awaited redesign of the Lendsqr Admin Console, and we’re excited to make it available this August.
The refreshed experience has been built to help your team work faster and more efficiently, with a cleaner interface, improved navigation, and a more intuitive workflow across key lending operations. Whether you’re managing customers, reviewing applications, or configuring products, the new admin console is designed to reduce clicks, improve discoverability, and make everyday tasks simpler.
We’re looking forward to rolling this out soon and can’t wait for you to experience the new and improved platform.
๐ Google Analytics Integration for your web application
We’re also working on bringing Google Analytics directly into your web application to give you deeper visibility into how customers interact with your lending journey.
Once available, you’ll be able to track key conversion metrics across your application flow, identify where users drop off, and better understand customer behaviour. These insights will help you make informed decisions to optimize your onboarding experience, improve conversion rates, and ultimately grow your lending business.
